Cartier Jackie O Gold Plate Belt/Necklace

A gold vermeil belt/necklace by Cartier from 1970 may also be worn as a chunky statement necklace. This highly collectible and coveted belt/necklace is made from sterling silver, plated in 24 karat gold. Marked “STERLING” and signed “Cartier”. This belt was made famous in 1969 when the late Jackie Kennedy Onassis was photographed wearing it on Capri. Her estate came to auction at Sotheby’s in 1996,and this Cartier belt sold for a staggering $27,000. Elizabeth Taylor’s belt of the same model sold at auction in 2011 for $52,000. Length: 30″ chain with 5″ drop. Made up of twenty heavily textured 1″ – 2″ discs. Ours is well-priced.

Cartier Abstract Leaf Forties Earrings

Vintage abstract Cartier leaf earrings from the Forties. Five articulated leaves in eighteen carat gold, each accentuated by a single round cut diamond. 1 inch long with a unique and flattering form. This is a design we have not seen before and may have been a custom piece. Similar design featured in “The Cartiers” by Francesca Cartier Brickell, released earlier this year.

Cartier/Cipullo “Juste Un Clou” Nail Bracelet

Cartier /Cipullo “Juste Un Clou” nail bracelet, this one signed Cipullo 1971. Eighteen carat yellow gold. As featured on the cover of the new monograph on Cipullo by Assouline called ”Cipullo: Making Jewelry Modern”. The ubiquitous Cipullo Cartier Love bracelet has remained highly coveted, as is his vintage Nail design. This is one of the older ones and remains ultra-chic.
