antique diamond negligee necklace

This luscious platinum and diamond lavalier, or negligee, is ca.1915.

The large diamonds are two old mine, cushion-shaped diamonds weighing 5.15 carats. They are joined at the top by one old mine cut diamond weighing .60 carats, so the total diamond weight is 5.65 carats.

When we purchased the necklace, the platinum chain was 14.34 inches, which is short on most necks so we added a bit of another antique chain from the same period (which may be removed or added to for a custom length). The current length is 16 inches. Weight is 3.8 dwts.
