Just like vintage gowns, estate jewelry has an allure all of its own: a patina and past that makes it not only more intriguing than new pieces, but often much more beautiful too. This is certainly the case with much of Dana Kraus‘s carefully curated collection of hard-to-find ‘one-of-a-kind 20th-century pieces’ by the likes of Verdura, Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Tiffany, Bulgari and Schlumberger.
It is an exciting time to reinvent the selling process for luxury goods. We’ve developed a business model that has made buying and selling one-of-a-kind jewelry easier and more transparent. We meet clients privately and spend a great deal of time doing rigorous research to develop thoughtfully vetted merchandise for our sophisticated (both intellectually and visually) clients.
Estate jewelry just means that it has been previously owned; we help people edit their collections, which is often not easy since jewelry is so personal. And we are respectful of privacy in finding new homes for well-loved pieces. Jewelry can be an excellent investment with experience and guidance like ours.
